5.1 Surround / Sound Design

This was a module for surround sound at the university of hertfordshire: Adding sound to Moving Image.

• Below is a video which i created all the sound design / foley for and then mixed it to 5.1 surround sound.

My aim/idea for this video as I saw it for the first time was to have, the visuals I see directly correlate to sounds it could possibly be making. Whilst there is a constant black background, I felt there could be a drone running throughout the video to represent this colour, until it changes to the white background with the Virus/Cell-like visual, which I thought the drone could change into another drone; it also reminded me of a scene from Resident Evil (the T-Virus).

I also incorporated my own surround recording using the Sennhesier AMBEO VR mic.
